My system is fairly old. I was lucky to find some cheap DDR4 RAM and got it to 64GB.
I'm also using a noname KingDian 1TB Sata SSD
I purchased 2 500GB SSD Drives.
I am using the Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU for plotting
I like to install XRDP so I can remotely manage all my systems from the basement control center. (a chair and a desk)
sudo apt-install xrdp
Install UFW
sudo apt install ufw
Open port for xrdp remote access
sudo ufw allow 3389
Open port for Chia
sudo ufw allow 8444
Open port for Harvesters
sudo ufw allow 8447
Open port for MadMax Recomputer
sudo ufw allow 11989
Open port for DataLayer
sudo ufw allow 8575
If you don't have your SSH private key setup, we can block the SSH port
sudo ufw deny 22
Because everyone else does this on YouTube
sudo ufw
Enable the Firewall
sudo ufw enable
Check the Status
sudo ufw status
This is the driver I've been using and it works so I'm going to keep using it unless I find more information otherwise
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-525 nvidia-cuda-toolkit clinfo
IMPORTANT: You must reboot your computer for the Nvidia drivers to work
https://github.com/madMAx43v3r/chia-gigahorse/tree/master/cuda-plotter
Open up Terminal in the location of the Cuda Plotter
sudo ./cuda_plot_k32_v3 -C
If you have 256GB Ram you do not need -t -2 or -3 temp folders
If you have 128GB Ram you can use an NVMEs for -t and -2
If you have 64GB Ram you can use NVMEs for -t -2 -3
If you have 8GB Ram you can use NVMEs for -t -2 -3
In my case, I only have one good NVME so I used the same temp drives for all of them

After we finish plotting, we're going to add the drives/plots to the farmer and configure the config.yml.
I'm also going to add a quick blog/video to recover 5% extra space on your hard drives by setting the reserved space to ZERO.
Later when we build harvesters, we will use the RECOMPUTE program to load balance the computes.
